 But before you entrust me with your personal shopping, here is a little about me besides having a big passion for shopping and luxury handbags. I’m 35, happily married with three wonderful children and an avid reader. I’m a graduate of political science from Carleton University. After my graduation, I switched careers and got into Information Technology and worked for several large corporations as well as for the federal and municipal governments here in Ottawa. Eventually, I decided to leave the corporate world and stay home with my kids.

 I started luxury shopping a few years ago when I bought my first Burberry. I proudly walked into Saks Fifth Avenue in Florida and purchased a Burberry handbag and that’s when my obsession with luxury handbags was born. Later on I bought my first Gucci, then I became obsessed with Chloe, but I am not exclusive to one brand.

 While I love to shop for luxury items, I find it very expensive and unnecessary to pay retail for many of these brands when you could always get a better deal. So I learned and became good at finding these deals. Right now I wouldn't even think about paying retail for most of these brands (with the exception of Louis Vuitton which does not go on sale EVER).

 The discounts I find usually depend on the brand and model, so it can range anywhere from 30% off - 60% off in some cases. When you request something specific, I can usually tell you the type of markdown to expect and within how long.

 I have learned a lot from my own personal experiences as well as from being a member of online forums for handbag lovers like myself. Internet sites and forums have been and continue to be an invaluable learning tool for me. My list of bookmarked sites is growing every day. If I have any questions or concerns about a handbag (style, design, care) I can always find the answer through my online research.

 From my own personal experience, I learned where to buy bags that will ship to Canada and exactly how things work with customs and importing. The details depend on where I buy/import the bag from. I have also sold a few of my own bags and dealt with selling on eBay as well as privately.

 Through my own personal experience and research, I developed many personal relationships with department store salespeople specializing in handbags as well as with my own list of authentic etailers for the various designer brands. In other words, I am always informed about the greatest deals and if not, I go after them myself by way of phone calls and by constantly checking my websites.

 I only deal with 100% authentic handbags and I always know for sure that where I am buying from or recommending to you is a reputable seller. Handbags I find could be anywhere from major department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom to any of their last call stores to outlet stores like Gucci or Dior, to reputable online etailers that I know and have proven to only sell authentic items.
